Lamb grass fed.  Raised with Love. At Straight Forward Farm our lamb is 100% grass fed. Grass fed lamb is not the easiest to find, as it takes a great deal of farmer effort to keep a lush grass rotation in front of sheep.  But we find the results to be very rewarding. 

 
 

Our Farming Mission:

The way we farm tends to be a bit old fashioned but it works for our small farm, and our small farm family. We tend to adhere to these ideas:

  1. More family interaction with our live-stock and land is better,

  2. Animal confinement is to be avoided,

  3. Longer time with mom (animal weaning length) is better,

  4. Grow our supplies for our farm here,

  5. Less machines around the better,

  6. Keep our activities local (buying, selling, rubbernecking),

  7. Take pride in feeding our friends, family, neighbors and their kids,

  8. If it seems potentially do-able, lets give it a shot!
