What is lamb’s wool? It’s the first wool grown on a sheep & therefore the softest. “Lamb’s wool” is a common term used in descriptions for premium wool yarns & sweaters. A yearlings is the largest size a “lamb” will be prior to their first wool shearing, making this the largest hide possible that still is exclusively covered in lamb’s wool!
